EL NOU COMPLEX ESPORTIU SANT JORDI DE TARRAGONA SERÀ UNA REALITAT EL 2011

[…] El projecte definitiu haurà d’estar enllestit en 6 mesos i el termini d’execució de les obres serà de 30 mesos. Les obres i la gestió del recinte anirà a càrrec de la UTE formada per les empreses Essencial Wellness SL, ADD Xavier Claramunt SL, Caña y Caña Construcciones SL, i Edificaciones i Reparaciones Tarraco. La concessió del recinte serà de 40 anys. El vicepresident del Govern s’ha felicitat pel projecte que permetrà crear una “nova zona emblemàtica” per la ciutat, ja que es tracta d’un “projecte molt ambiciós a nivell arquitectònic” i alhora “amb un valor social afegit, el de la innovació”, tenint en compte que la construcció subterrània permetrà guanyar una zona de lleure i oci.[…] Continue reading →

El centre de Tarragona tindrà la tardor del 2011 pavelló i piscina subterranis amb vistes des d’un nou espai públic de 7.000 m²

Aquest conglomerat té ara sis mesos per redactar el projecte executiu, i després 30 mesos més per fer les obres, que haurien d’estar a punt la tardor de 2011. Los estudios de arquitectura EQUIP Xavier Claramunt y Lagula Arquitectes han ganado el concurso impulsado por la Generalitat de Catalunya para el diseño del nuevo complejo deportivo Sant Jordi, en Tarragona. El proyecto, que está previsto entre en funcionamiento en enero de 2011, contará con una superficie construida de catorce mil metros cuadrados, buena parte de los cuales serán subterráneos, lo que permitirá liberar la práctica totalidad del solar que ocupa el recinto. FREDERIC HOMS BORN

This Frederic Horns establishment is located in the Born neighborhood of Barcelona. The Born is a very active area of the city with narrow, maze-like backstreets and limited direct sunlight. The arched Catalan roof structure, complete with small metal beams, has been retained and painted black, along with the cast-iron pillars which frame the space. The original cement paving has been restored, freed from obstacles and decorated with graffiti of large-sized letters extending up to the wall area.
The space features a series of large, luminous letters. One of these letters is on reinforced wheels so it can be moved to the facade looking out onto the street. In addition to illuminating and organizing the interior space, the letters are highly visible from outside, appearing as though they had fallen from a luminous sign of large proportions.

This old factory, dating back to the beginning of last century, is located in Pueblo Nuevo, a known industrial area in Barcelona. The top floor plays host to this project.
In this large L-shaped space the client wanted to install a graphics studio and a set for photo shoots. The studio is composed of several small meeting rooms, offices and amenities, while the photo set is an area without divisions, but which can be subdivided if needed. Continue reading →

HABITACIÓN CON (QUÉ) VISTAS

Una empresa de arquitectura de Barcelona y un grupo de ingenieros aeronáuticos de Florida han desarrollando un prototipo de habitación de hotel espacial, bautizado como Galactic Suite, para que los turistas y astronautas que se decidan a viajar al espacio tengan un sitio donde alojarse. El hotel tiene aspecto de racimo de uvas y de un núcleo central similar a un satélite salen las habitaciones en forma de cápsula y con un gran ventanal para contemplar el exterior. Las estancias tienen siete metros de largo por cuatro de alto y en el interior, sin ángulos ni líneas rectas, solo hay unas protuberancias en el perímetro para que el usuario se acople a ellas para comer, dormir o mirar el espacio a través de los grandes ventanales, para flotar en libertad observando el exterior.

¿Cómo será Galactic Suite?
Estará formado por cuatro módulos y contará con equipamientos de todo tipo, incluso un spa. El visitante pasará cuatro días en él, después de entrenarse durante ocho semanas en una isla tropical, en la que diseñaremos un resort y un puerto espacial.
