The task was to increase the space of this historical four-storey hotel considerably without reconstructing. So there appeared a ·D prism-shaped unit separated by a garden from the original building, connected to the old hotel with a common underground floor comprising rooms and a most impressive conference hall. The sun rays come into the hall through the bottom of a piecewise glazed swimming pool and canals filled with water.
